Delete your data

You can have your A Bit Better account and everything in it deleted at any time.

Delete it yourself, in the app

Open You → Settings → Your data → Delete my account. You can download everything first with Download my data. Deletion happens immediately.

Or ask us by email

1. Email support@abitbetter.app from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete my A Bit Better data”.
2. We confirm the request is from the account owner, then delete the account and send you a confirmation.

What is deleted

Your profile and sign-in details, every day you logged (meals, water, steps, sleep, weight, workouts, notes and reflections), your meal photos, saved foods, targets, assistant and Hevy connections, and your Circle memberships. Photos are removed from storage too.

How long it takes

We aim to finish within 30 days. Backups held by our database provider may keep copies for a short time longer before they expire.

If you signed in with Facebook

You can also remove A Bit Better in Facebook under Settings → Apps and websites. That stops Facebook sign-in, but your data stays with us until you request deletion as above.
